Within the field of neuromorphic artificial intelligence, energy-based models (EBMs) are attracting growing interest due to their ability to capture relationships between variables by minimizing a single scalar function (the energy function) without requiring normalization over the entire dataset. This postdoctoral position builds on work carried out within the laboratory, on a software framework [2] as well as contributions on algorithms and hardware architecture [3][4][5], with the aim of implementing a hardware prototype that will constitute the primary mission of the recruited postdoctoral researcher.

These investigations will be carried out as part of the “Emergences” project [1] within the national PEPR IA framework programme of France 2030.
