Overview

Job Description

There is a need for a mid-level legal counsel in Paris to assist with Product compliance matters in the Compliance department. This person would assist with ensuring the compliance of our products and services with applicable laws and regulations, notably:

• Identify and analyze regulatory risks related to the company's products and services
• Help develop and implement internal procedures to ensure compliance with applicable regulations
• Collaborate with legal, business, and operational teams to ensure compliance of new projects
• Conduct audits and internal controls to verify the application of standards and legal obligations

Qualifications

• Experience: 4 years of experience as an in-house legal counsel or compliance officer, preferably in a media or digital/tech company, or as a lawyer specialized in the digital sector.
• Expertise: Strong knowledge of French and European regulatory frameworks (e.g., GDPR, digital services regulation, consumer law).
• Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong drafting and communication abilities (fluent in both French and English). Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Capacity to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
• Mindset: Proactive, rigorous, and business-oriented.
