Land Development Manager – Hyperscale Data Centres

We are looking for a Land Development Manager to support strategic development programs across France. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading consultancy supporting some of the world’s largest hyperscale data centre clients across the region. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing the permitting, planning and pre-construction phases of major hyperscale projects. Acting as a trusted advisor to hyperscale clients, you’ll coordinate all aspects of land acquisition support, planning, permitting, and site readiness, ensuring each site is primed for successful delivery. This is a remote role based in France with periodic travel across the region, offering exposure to complex, high‑value developments shaping the future of Europe’s digital infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the early-stage development lifecycle for multiple hyperscale projects.
• Oversee due diligence, feasibility studies, and development appraisals.
• Coordinate planning and permitting processes, engaging with consultants and local authorities.
• Support land acquisition efforts, advising on constraints, risks, and development strategy.
• Act as the key interface between clients, technical teams, and delivery partners.
• Monitor and report on programme, budget, and risk during pre‑construction stages.

About You

• Proven experience in land development, project management, or development consultancy, within data centres.
• Strong understanding of planning, permitting, and development processes across Europe.
• Confident managing multiple stakeholders across complex, multi‑country projects.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Willing to travel across the region when required (role otherwise fully remote).
