A leading research institute in Bordeaux is looking for a professional to contribute to the INNTERACT project focused on generating 3D human myocardial tissue. This role involves developing bioprinting protocols, engaging in tissue reconstruction, and analyzing printed tissue viability. Ideal candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in biological engineering, proficiency in bioprinting techniques, and good command of scientific English. Experience in 3D cell culture or collaborative research is a plus.
Project context: The INNTERACT project aims to assess the feasibility of generating a 3D human myocardial tissue, GMP-compatible, using tissue engineering. Human induced pluripotent stem cells (hiPSC) will be differentiated into cardiomyocytes and cardiac fibroblasts, then bioprinted in GMP-compatible bioreactors in order to produce functional cardiac tissues. These tissues will be cultured under GMP-like conditions to evaluate their viability and their potential for translation into clinical applications.
