Description du poste

SPIE Services Nigeria Limited is currently looking for the IST Logistics Officer to join its workforce in Nigeria.

Suitable candidate will:

• Ensure the availability of IST Shared Services stock by monitoring minimum levels for all in-use stock items. Escalate shortage of inventory items to the relevant hierarchies. Play a key role in regular IST Shared Services equipment / asset validation exercises.
• Review technical specifications and evolution of the IST End-User assets, including related configuration components, and advise hierarchy accordingly for requests / purchase purposes.
• Act as a decentralized buyer (with requested specifications), receive from supplying vendors the correct items based on specifications and other acceptable conditions for use within Company’s E&P Nigeria. Supervise storage of the items and equipment, ensuring proper storage environment requirements are always met.
• Ensure proper documentation and regular updates of inventory records throughout the entire lifecycle.
• Ensure IST assets repairs are adequately carried out, including implementation of all asset warranty requirements by supplying vendors where necessary.
• Oversee that asset records in the CMDB are regularly updated, ensuring an accurate inventory is always maintained.
• Handle proper disposal of IST assets (e-wastes and other related IST equipment) following COMPANY’S approved processes, in conjunction with HSE and relevant regulations.
• Participate in regular stock counting activities and provide regular reports with appropriate recommendations to address any identified gaps or control issues.
• Monitor asset support service performance levels, ensure detailed metrics and records are kept, and escalate recommendations for hierarchy review to implement.
• Supervise the Deep Water Shared Services Loan Pool activities and loan equipment management.
• Identify and recommend Asset Management initiatives that will ensure proper monitoring and cost effectiveness. Contribute to the consolidation & unification of IST Asset Management processes across the affiliate.
• Participate in designing, implementing, generating, improving, and collating inventory management and asset support related reports.
• Ensure Company HSE and Security standards and rules are applied and followed in all activities related to IST End-User Asset Support.

Qualifications / Experience

• Minimum of a Diploma in Computer Science, Physical Science or equivalent.
• 3-5 years’ experience in IT service management and asset management.
• Good understanding of computer hardware and its evolution.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, analytical ability, integrity and organization, with commitment to the position.
• Knowledge of IST operations is essential.
