A major aerospace company in Colomiers seeks a Quality Inspector to perform inspections and ensure compliance with aviation regulations. The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years experience in aeronautics or a related technical degree, with strong English communication skills. Qualifications

  • Knowledge of IT tools, especially Teamcenter and SAP, appreciated.

Missions
After initial training (3 months):
  • Perform receiving inspection (documentation and part conformity) for parts from supplier and other Collins sites/ divisions and record the necessary information in the internal batch managing application.
  • Create non-conformity report and coordinate upon closure.
  • Support scrap activities when necessary and create associated documents.
  • Verify airworthiness status of parts inspected.
  • Participate to RRCA for quality issues with the Spares Product Support and Collins Quality Assurance.
After full training (12 months):
  • Release material under EU regulation (EASA) and under US regulation (FAA).
  • Demonstrate airworthiness under EU regulation in regards of the approved data for Airbus and Dassault programs and update the Capability List.
  • Verify Airworthiness directive according to procedure associated with the applicable regulation.
Profile
  • Minimum 3 years in Aeronautic as Inspector/ Quality role OR two-year technical degree.
  • English (Read, written, spoken/ B2).
  • Autonomous, accountable and rigorous.
  • Schedule: shift 2x8
  • Knowledge of IT tools: Teamcenter et SAP would be appreciated.
  • Ability to instill trust and team spirit is essential to succeed in this role.
After full training
  • Schedule: shift 3x8
  • Available for weekend on-call duties (AOG support).
