An HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) Inspector plays a critical role in ensuring workplace safety, environmental conservation, and compliance with health and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspections and Audits: Conduct daily inspections of facilities, equipment, and work areas to identify hazards. Perform audits to assess compliance with HSE regulations and company policies.
  • Risk Assessment: Evaluate workplace risks and collaborate with teams to implement mitigation strategies. Provide actionable recommendations to improve safety measures.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed records of inspections, assessments, and incidents. Prepare comprehensive reports with findings, recommendations, and corrective actions.
  • Training and Education: Educate employees about health and safety standards. Encourage training on safety procedures and regulations.
  • Incident Investigation: Investigate workplace accidents to determine causes. Recommend preventive measures to avoid recurrence.
  • Prevention Plan (PDP) Compliance: Ensure the implementation and monitoring of the Prevention Plan (Plan de Prévention - PDP) for all relevant activities and contractors, in accordance with legal and company requirements.
Qualifications
  • A degree or certification in occupational health, safety, or environmental management.
  • Familiarity with industry-specific safety standards (e.g., Oil & Gas or hazardous materials).
  • Strong technical knowledge of safety equipment and risk management practices.
