The ideal candidate should have over 7 years of experience in luxury watch distribution and maintain strong relationships with retail partners. This position requires excellent client-facing skills and a proactive approach to business development. Proficiency in English is essential, while knowledge of other languages is preferred.

What we’re looking for

We are looking for a Head of Sales to help us expand and nurture our retail network globally. The ideal candidate should have an extensive network of luxury watch retailers around the world as well as at least 7 years of experience building and cultivating retail networks for watch brands. They should be able to open new doors for the brand in strategic markets as well as foster a growing level of success with each of our existing partners. To do so, they will need to ensure that they represent, promote and sell our brand as best as possible through the provision of training, marketing materials, retail displays, activations etc. The ideal candidate will need excellent external partner and client-facing skills and will act as an ambassador of the brand, taking parts in both B2C and B2B exhibitions and private events globally. Lastly, the ideal candidate will assist in managing strategic product collaborations with external parties including retailers, media partners, watch brands, VIP customers, etc.

Responsibilities
Retail Network
  • Leverage your network to expand our retail network in strategic markets globally;
  • Constantly monitor the landscape to identify new promising potential retail partners if applicable; engage with them to understand if a fit could exist and thus if a partnership could make sense;
  • Ensure that our partners represent, promote and sell our brand as best as possible through the provision of brand-initiated support: training, marketing materials, retail displays, activations, in-store events, etc.
Events
  • Take part in, and help organise B2B and B2C exhibitions and private events globally, acting as an ambassador of Atelier Wen;
  • Help identify new events Atelier Wen should take part in; constantly monitor the market for new potential concepts and engage with the organisers to determine if there could be fit;
  • Contribute to shaping Atelier Wen’s events strategy;
Product Collaborations with External Parties
  • Assist with the management of strategic collaboration projects, acting as an intermediary between external third-parties and the brand’s in house product development team;
  • Help sourcing new collaboration projects, adopting a proactive commercial attitude;
  • Coordinate between the external third-parties and our internal marketing team to ensure successful commercial outcomes;
SOP Definition
  • Identify process and system improvement opportunities and support implementation to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and visibility across operations for existing SOPs across;
VIP Customers
  • Build and manage your own VIP client portfolio for the brand, providing customers with personalised service and helping build loyalty to the brand;
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
  • Professional English;
  • 7+ years experience distributing luxury watches globally;
  • Extensive network among luxury watch retailers globally;
  • Strong abilities to support retail partners’ growth: training, material, understanding of what may be needed for them to be more successful, etc.
  • Excellent external partner and client-facing skills;
  • Experience with managing collaboration projects with third-parties; great organisational skills and extensive knowledge of the key factors that will make a project successful;
  • A deep knowledge of the independent watchmaking industry;
Preferred Qualifications
  • French-language proficiency;
  • Chinese-language proficiency;
  • An existing customer portfolio;
  • Experience with the major watch exhibitions and events around the world: Watches & Wonders, Dubai Watch Week, WatchTime, etc.
Location
  • Paris, Hong Kong or Singapore.
