Overview

The Global Strategic Account Director holds global responsibility for the Process Systems and Solutions business and leads the creation and execution of business strategies that drive sustainable business through deeper engagement with the assigned account. The primary goal is to establish Process Systems and Solutions - and secondarily Emerson Solutions - as the accounts preferred supplier of choice.

Responsibilities
  • To build credibility and strong relationships with key stakeholders to gain insider insights into the customers business and position Emerson as a trusted partner.
  • To lead and manage the virtual Strategic Account Team ensuring alignment collaboration and a unified approach to customer engagement.
  • To develop and implement Account Strategies and Plans that align with the customers business objectives and Emersons goals.
  • To provide timely and relevant customer insights to Emerson leadership at the country and European levels to support strategic decision-making.
  • To identify growth opportunities within the account and initiate pursuit processes to capitalize on them.
  • To promote Emersons full capabilities to mid- and upper-level management tailoring messaging to resonate with customer needs and objectives.
  • To facilitate pricing strategies and agreement formation ensuring win / win outcomes and maximizing profitability.
  • To lead early identification and positioning for major projects ensuring Emersons maximum content and strategic involvement.
  • To champion the Voice of the Customer ensuring feedback drives portfolio improvements and enhances customer satisfaction.

For This Role You Will Need
  • Technical degree or equivalent experience (at least Bachelors level).
  • More than 7 years of proven experience in Sales Leadership roles.
  • Account management experience or related account industry marketing experience.
