Global Commercial Excellence Lead
About the Role

My client is a global biopharmaceutical company with a strong presence across multiple regions, who combine scientific expertise, patient‑focused care, and commercial excellence to deliver impactful therapies worldwide. They are seeking a strategic and dynamic Global Commercial Excellence Lead to drive commercial performance and operational excellence across all regions. You will partner with global and regional leadership to define frameworks, optimise sales execution, and implement best‑in‑class practices that maximise commercial impact. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape how the commercial organisation plans, executes, and measures its activities worldwide, influencing sales effectiveness, marketing alignment, and customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and implementation of global commercial excellence strategies, frameworks, and tools.
  • Establish and maintain global performance management dashboards, KPIs, and scorecards; conduct business performance reviews and action planning.
  • Optimise field force models, call quality, and customer engagement standards in partnership with regions and countries.
  • Drive adoption and alignment of CRM and other Sales Force Effectiveness tools.
  • Promote omnichannel and digital engagement best practices, ensuring consistent customer journeys across markets.
  • Design and improve core commercial processes, governance structures, and ways of working.
  • Act as a change agent to embed a culture of continuous improvement and high‑performance mindset.
  • Ensure data integrity, compliance, and adherence to quality, regulatory, and pharmacovigilance standards.
Key Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Life Sciences, Engineering, or related field; MBA/MS preferred.
  • Proven track record in commercial excellence, sales force effectiveness, and business transformation within the pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry.
  • Vast experience in commercial roles (Sales, Marketing, Commercial Operations, SFE, Business Excellence, or Consulting), with global/regional exposure.
  • Strong strategic thinking, analytical skills, and ability to translate strategy into operational execution.
  • Excellent project management, communication, and influencing skills.
