A global finance leader is looking for a strategic Finance Manager in London to oversee accounting and finance operations across multiple entities. The ideal candidate will have 5-8 years of relevant experience, a professional accountancy qualification, and proficiency in ERP systems like NetSuite.   • Knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP, French GAAP is a plus.

As a member of our client's global Finance team split between Paris and London, you will report directly to the Finance Director based in London, and play a critical role in helping the company scale efficiently. The current position is London-based and can cater to French citizens willing to relocate to London.

The successful hire will be responsible for managing the Accounting and Finance Operations across our numerous entities, building best in class finance processes and controls and overseeing the day‑day finance operations.

The role would suit a driven candidate with a technical accounting background who possesses strong commercial instincts and a desire to be part of an entrepreneurial growth journey.

This is a high‑impact role where you'll help drive sustainable growth : partnering with teams to scale the business while ensuring financial rigor and discipline remain at the core of our decisions.

Your Responsibilities
Accounting & Reporting
  • Responsibility for producing the monthly Group management accounts;
  • Responsible for the year end statutory accounts and annual audits, working with outsourced accounting firms in each country;
  • Manage cashflow, treasury & working capital to optimise liquidity & minimise risk;
  • Implementation of group Transfer Pricing policies;
Finance Operations
  • Ensure on‑time compliance across all entities for statutory returns;
  • Maintain a strong internal control environment, with clear documented financial procedures
  • Adoption of a continuous improvement approach suitable for a fast‑growth business;
  • Oversight of the financial systems infrastructure (ERP, Expenses System, P2P tools, etc), ensuring it is fit for purpose and continually adapting & evolving to meet the needs of the business;
  • Oversight of the order‑to‑cash processes;
Systems & automation
  • Lead the optimisation of NetSuite
  • Design and implement automation to streamline order‑to‑cash, procure‑to‑pay, and record‑to‑report cycles.
  • Build integrations between NetSuite and operational systems (Tipalti, Spendesk, Looker, Banking Platforms);
  • Drive continuous improvement in reporting, analytics, and dashboarding
Finance Team Leadership
  • Line management responsibilities for the Accounting function (Finance Manager, Management Accountant x2 and Accounts Payable Administrator);
  • Foster a learning and development culture within the Finance Team and the wider UK office;
  • Coach junior members of the Finance team towards a process improvement mindset, leveraging AI tools and emerging technologies;
Your Qualifications
  • Professional Accountancy Qualification (ACA, ACCA);
  • 5-8 years of experience in a relevant field including controlling leadership roles in high‑growth, multi‑country businesses; experience of franchising would be a plus;
  • Strong accounting, reporting and compliance background in IFRS and UK GAAP (and French GAAP would be a plus)
  • Confident navigating cross‑functional discussions with senior stakeholders;
  • Deep knowledge of ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP etc) is mandatory, NetSuite being a preference;
  • Strong experience in finance automation and systems integration;
  • A continuous improvement mindset : you proactively identify opportunities to optimise processes and enhance efficiency;
  • Track record of building and developing teams;
  • Fluency in French would be a strong plus;
