You will join the Group Learning team, who support people and business growth at AXA. Within this Department, you will be part of the transversal team, reporting directly to the Group Head of Learning.

Your Role And Responsibilities

Your Job And Daily Missions

Join AXA’s Group Learning team to shape the future of learning across a global organization. You will oversee the financial management of the legal entity GIE AXA Université, providing critical insights, ensuring compliance, and enabling strategic decision-making to support the department’s efficiency.

Define and implement the financial management and control framework
  • Develop and maintain robust financial processes to support the department’s operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
  • Ensure adherence to AXA Group financial standards, internal policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide strategic financial insights to support decision-making related to programs, operations, and resource allocation.
  • Manage relationships with internal and external auditors, tax advisors, and other partners to facilitate audits and fiscal reviews.
  • Support the migration or enhancement of financial systems and tools to improve efficiency and data integrity.
  • Manage the legal and fiscal documentation required to operate the entity GIE AXA Université
  • Coordinate contract management and support procurement activities, to ensure financial and operational compliance.
Coordinate and monitor financial performance
  • Monitor department budgets, analyze variances, and prepare reports to inform management.
  • Coordinate the preparation of the annual budget and multi-year strategic forecasts, collaborating with relevant stakeholders.
  • Track financial KPIs and develop dashboards to provide actionable insights.
  • Support cost control initiatives and identify opportunities for efficiency improvements.
  • Ensure timely and accurate invoicing processes in relation with AXA entities, managing the invoicing tracking and operational activities.
  • Contribute to financial engineering of future learning programs and support pricing and resource allocation decisions, together with program managers.
  • Manage internal purchase order systems and support software migrations or updates impacting financial processes.
Ensure compliance and risk management
  • Maintain internal control policies and procedures aligned with AXA standards and regulatory frameworks.
  • Manage documentation for legal and fiscal compliance, including related to international payments and tax requirements.
  • Proactively identify financial risks and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Oversee compliance with contractual standards, including review of contract clauses and governance procedures.
  • Ensure all processes and templates are followed, and onboard new team members with relevant procedures to maintain process integrity.
YOUR PROFILE

We’re looking for an experienced finance and controlling professional, passionate about continuously improving our operations and willing to be a strategic partner to our Group Learning leadership team.

Technical And Professional Skills
  • Proven experience as a Financial Controller or similar role, ideally within a corporate or university, in an international environment.
  • Strong knowledge of financial statements, accounting, general ledger functions, and month-end/year-end closing processes.
  • Experience with budgeting, forecasts, and variance analysis.
  • Experience with procurement, legal, and fiscal topics is a strong plus.
  • Knowledge of French regulation on corporate training is a strong plus.
  • Advanced proficiency with Excel and financial management systems.
  • High attention to detail, process-oriented mindset, and data-driven approach.
  • Fluent in English; French would be highly appreciated.

  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a cross-functional team in a fast-paced environment.
