Overview

Executive Officer/Clerk I/II (holding the functional title of Knowledge Exchange Officer/Assistant Knowledge Exchange Officer) in the Department of Medicine, School of Clinical Medicine. Ref.: 533162. This is a two-year fixed-term appointment with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of the basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance. Work type: Full-time.

Responsibilities

The appointee will mainly support the Knowledge Exchange (KE) Team in organizing large-scale events and various KE initiatives. He/She will perform other ad hoc duties as assigned. Occasional work outside normal office hours and on weekends will be required.

Qualifications
  • A good Bachelor’s degree with at least 3 years of full-time administrative experience, preferably in a tertiary institution, public organization or NGO.
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua).
  • IT competency with proficiency in MS Office.
  • Outstanding presentation, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills; ability to work independently.
  • Good team player and self-starter with positive attitude; attentive to details.
  • Preference will be given to those with solid experience in programme administration and event management.
  • Those with lower qualifications or less experience may be considered for appointment as Clerk I/II.
Remuneration and Benefits

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
