A global technology company is looking for an Electrical & Electronic Systems Manager to lead their team in Belley, FR. You will be responsible for developing and validating systems for compact machines while ensuring high quality and compliance. The ideal candidate has a Master's in electrical engineering and has proven experience in team management within the automotive or industrial sector. What You Will Do
  • Lead the Electrical & Electronic Systems (E&E) team at the Belley (01) site within the Compact Equipment Business Unit of Volvo Construction Equipment.
  • Develop, integrate, and validate E&E systems for compact machines, ensuring quality, compliance, and performance of delivered solutions.
  • Build the product and service roadmap, anticipate customer needs, and propose innovative solutions.
  • Foster cross‑functional collaboration with production, purchasing, suppliers, and other group sites, while supporting the skill development of your team.
  • Actively contribute to achieving the strategic ambitions of the Compact Business Unit and Volvo CE.
  • Support your team in delivering expected outcomes, monitor task execution, and ensure the quality of deliverables.
  • Develop development synergies with other entities and sites within the Volvo Group.

Join a committed and multicultural team of about fifteen passionate colleagues, within a Technology department that spans eight divisions across several international sites.

Who Are You?
  • Hold a Master’s degree (Bac+5) in electrical engineering, embedded systems, or equivalent.
  • Have proven experience in team management (hierarchical and/or cross‑functional) and in the development of E&E systems in the automotive or industrial equipment industry.
  • Can collaborate effectively in a multi‑disciplinary and multi‑site environment.
  • Demonstrate unifying leadership, a solution‑oriented mindset, and the ability to structure, arbitrate, and prioritize.
  • Be fluent in spoken and written English.
Additional Assets
  • Curiosity, a taste for innovation, and a desire to take on challenges.
  • Experience in international environments.
