An innovative AI firm in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes is seeking an AI research engineer who will work on state-of-the-art models. You will prototype new models, optimize them for production, and communicate effectively to solve customer problems. Upstage AI research engineers understand the challenges facing our customers and think about how our AI technology can solve their challenges. Based on your knowledge of AI, you define problems, prototype the latest AI models, and enhance models beyond state-of-the-art. You will also be encouraged to bring research results to the production level.

Responsibilities

• Prototype recent state-of-the-art models
• Optimize models so that they can run in production systems
• Discuss how to most efficiently solve customers' problems
• Develop the best AI models
• Be the real-full-stack-engineer – who is a developer, a researcher, a data scientist all at the same time – with awesome communication skills
