Under the Refinish Business Director EMEA South supervision, you will hold responsibility for several clients across Africa, French Overseas Territories & Israel. You will develop and implement commercial strategies to achieve ambitious revenue and service quality targets while strengthening long‑term customer partnerships. You will play a key role in improving segment performance and driving new business opportunities through both direct and indirect sales channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute the sub-regional commercial strategy to achieve annual revenue, gross margin, and market share targets across diverse emerging and mature markets.
- Drive revenue growth and market share in the automotive coatings and aftersales sector across these diverse territories.
- Full accountability for the regional budget, including revenue generation, gross margin targets, and cost control.
- Build strategic partnerships/relationships with high-value automotive major bodyshop networks/ MSOs and lead high-stakes negotiations.
- Lead and mentor cross‑functional, intercultural sales and technical teams across geographically dispersed locations.
- Identify and execute entry strategies for untapped territories, leveraging "New Business" opportunities and optimizing the route‑to‑market via distributors or direct sales.
- Take full accountability for designing and optimizing the most effective route‑to‑market architecture—determining the ideal mix of direct sales, importers, and distribution channels to maximize market penetration and profitability.
Your Profile
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, engineering, or related field required; a Master’s degree (MBA or equivalent) is a strong asset.
- Significant experience (8–10 years) within matrix organizations, with a solid understanding of distribution models.
- Proven experience in the automotive aftermarket products and services market; experience in coatings and automotive paint is a major advantage.
- Proven experience managing these regions, growing market share, and leading complex distributor and importer models with a strong channel strategy.
- Negotiating high‑stake deals and operating effectively across both developed and emerging markets.
- Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to motivate and manage teams.
- Strong sales and business development skills, with a track record of building strategic customer relationships and converting opportunities into results.
- Customer‑focused mindset, ability to understand client needs and deliver tailored solutions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present, negotiate, and influence effectively at all levels.
- Languages: fluent in English and French.
- Mobility required: frequent travel (70–80%).
