The Digital Marketing Specialist, SEM, deploys and analyzes digital marketing initiatives in Paid Search (PPC), Display Advertising, and related areas. The specialist will primarily support digital advertising activities in the EU region, with potential assistance in other regions as needed.

Major Job Duties and Responsibilities (listed in order of importance):

  1. Support Search Engine Marketing strategy and deployment.
  2. Assist with building SEM campaigns.
  3. Identify opportunities through keyword research, select appropriate match types in Google Ads, and optimize final URLs for conversions.
  4. Analyze customer behavior and heatmaps using Google Analytics to identify advertising opportunities.
  5. Create personalized ad copy to ensure relevant communication, considering marketing attributes and customer behavior.
  6. Build analytics dashboards for SEM campaigns, analyze results, and recommend action items.
  7. Perform topic and keyword research using SEO/SEM tools such as SEMrush, Moz Pro, Google Ads, etc.
  8. Collaborate with stakeholders to optimize campaigns across various product and subject areas.
  9. Identify trends and insights to maximize ROI in paid search campaigns.
  10. Support digital marketing projects to maximize ROI, traffic, and customer growth.
  11. Build and manage dashboards reporting paid advertising metrics and insights.
  12. Stay updated on latest advertising trends and PPC strategies.

Qualifications (Education / Training, Experience, Certifications):

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • At least 5 years of hands-on SEM experience.
  • Certifications such as Google Ads and Google Analytics.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Knowledge:

  • Understanding of multiple e-marketing channels.
  • Familiarity with SEM, SEO, Content Marketing best practices.

Skills / Tools:

  • Proficiency in Google Ads / Bing Ads, including keyword research and campaign management.
  • Experience with Google Ads Editor, Google Analytics, SEMrush, Moz, AHREFs, etc.
  • Ability to write high-quality short-form content and ad copy.

Additional Skills:

  • Experience working with large datasets in Excel or SQL.
  • Familiarity with eCommerce metrics and working with eCommerce companies.

Abilities:

  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Self-driven, quick learner, and organized.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong team player with a positive attitude.
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects.

Environmental and Physical Conditions:

  • Office environment, typically sedentary work with occasional walking, standing, or lifting under 10 lbs.
  • Flexible working hours, occasional travel possible.
