Description du poste

Outsight's software solutions track the motion of people and vehicles using 3D LiDAR data. Operators of transportation hubs like airports, train stations, sport venues, road infrastructures and industrial sites can now access accurate and anonymous Spatial Intelligence data to improve operations and increase user safety and satisfaction.

Our international team of scientists and engineers drives the development of our solutions from Paris, San Francisco, Sophia‑Antipolis (Nice) & Hong Kong. To support our global outreach, we also operate a commercial office in Spain. The following highlights our company and the role of a Cyber Security Operations Engineer.

Context

We are seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled Cyber Security Operations Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be the first line of defense in protecting our infrastructure, customer data, and proprietary systems. This role combines strategic security design with hands‑on development and operational support, requiring a “builder” mindset—you will design and contribute to the security architecture, tune alerts and responses, and sharpen our security posture to stay ahead of evolving threats.

Key Responsibilities
  • Threat Detection & Incident Response
Actively monitor security alerts via SIEM, IDS/IPS, and EDR solutions.
Serve as a primary handler for security incidents, investigate indicators of compromise, contain threats, and lead remediation efforts.
Perform root cause analysis on security breaches or near‑misses to prevent recurrence.
  • Security Infrastructure Management
Build and maintain security infrastructure: define architecture, select tools, and manage configuration of firewalls, endpoint protection, vulnerability scanners, and DLP systems.
Conduct regular vulnerability scanning, analyze results, and coordinate patching schedules with operations and engineering teams.
Oversee IAM policies, ensuring the principle of least privilege is enforced across cloud and on‑premise environments.
  • Automation & Engineering
Write scripts in Python and Bash to automate repetitive security tasks, data gathering and incident response actions (SOAR).
Integrate security tools into the CI/CD pipeline (DevSecOps) to support engineering teams and participate in software supply‑chain audit and monitoring.
  • Compliance & Reporting
Maintain up‑to‑date documentation of security architecture, incident response plans and playbooks.
Assist in gathering evidence for compliance audits (SOC 2, ISO 27001, TISAX, etc.).
Generate reports on security KPIs for management review and customer reports.
Qualifications
  • Required Experience
5+ years of experience in Information Security, Network Operations or System Administration with a security focus.
  • SIEM Proficiency
Hands‑on experience with Wazuh, Splunk and integration with AWS services.
  • Endpoint Security
Experience managing EDR solutions such as CrowdStrike.
  • Cloud Security
Working knowledge of AWS cloud security principles, including Security Groups, IAM, and CloudTrail/CloudWatch.
  • Networking
Deep understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S and network traffic analysis (Wireshark).
  • Soft Skills & Attributes
Problem Solver: remain calm and analytical under pressure during live incidents.
Communicator: explain technical security risks to non‑technical stakeholders and customers.
Collaborator: work effectively with DevOps and Engineering teams.
  • Education & Certifications
Master’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity or equivalent practical experience.
Certifications: cloud‑environment cybersecurity certification is a plus.
