Cyber Security Architects join our growing team to work on complex systems and provide specialist security architecture, technical leadership and guidance. The aim is to enable Thales to devise, develop and maintain reliable, secure, accreditable and economically sustainable security solutions that meet project needs. You will advise on high level security compliant architecture and contribute to the design of preliminary and detailed designs, including the study of alternatives and risk assessments.
Consult on potential security components architectures (e.g. SIEM, IAM, gateways, detection and deception capabilities).
Evaluate architectures against Business Line policy and major cyber security standards and regulatory frameworks (NIST, ISO, JSP, etc.).
Produce justification for architectural choices and ensure technical coordination across a multi-disciplinary team. Present, recommend and demonstrate solutions to customer representatives, peers or technical teams.
Conduct security related tasks including:
Ideally you have graduated in Engineering or Computer Science or hold relevant industry certifications (CISSP, Cisco, CCP, etc). You should have experience advising on security solutions considering customer needs and be able to secure solutions in collaboration with domain architects. You are seen as a value proposition on crucial and sensitive programmes.
You should be able to define architectures on your own or with others. You are proficient with Infrastructure Security Design, Security Supervision Design, and Information Systems Security (ISS). You can advise and support the team. You are familiar with Risk Analysis, Network Security, Cryptography, Identity & Access Management (software/hardware development, the NIST Cybersecurity Framework, cloud technologies). You can monitor and measure risk as well as compliance and work with customers and technical teams.
Domain knowledge – Defence, Nuclear, Government, Aerospace, CNI, Transport. Risk Management and Accreditation.
