The ideal candidate should have a degree in Mechanical/Aeronautical Engineering, at least 5 years of experience, and be fluent in both French and English. Qualifications

  • Degree in Mechanical/Aeronautical Engineering or similar.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience.
  • Good knowledge of composite materials.

  • Create plybooks and trimming/bonding instructions.
  • Design tooling for internal production.

Position

In the context of new projects, ORECA Technology is looking for Composite Industrialization/Method Engineer (M/F) based in Signes, near the Paul Ricard Circuit in VAR.

Your role will be to
  • Establish all the manufacturing documents regarding the parts produced in-house and outsourced
  • Create plybooks (2D and 3D), trimming and bonding instructions of composites parts
  • Design tooling (Aluminum and carbon molds, trimming and bonding jigs…) to produce parts internally and ease the job of the operators
  • Update all the technical documentations base on operators' feedback in real time
  • Collect all the technical information and create the manufacturing documents regarding prototypes parts done in our workshop
  • Collaborate with our supplier base to ensure the best production quality level of outsourced parts based on Oreca standards
  • Participate on our supplier tooling design validation process

Profile
Required experience & qualifications
  • Degree in Mechanical/Aeronautical Engineering or similar
  • 5 years experience minimum
  • Composites Materials knowledges
  • Good knowledge of Catia V5 surface, solid composites and drawing modules
  • Fluent French & English
  • Being passionate about motor sports is a plus
