Location
Villejust, Marseille France (Mobile / Hybrid) – Preferably not full remote. 2 days in office attendance rules.
Reporting to
Contract Management Director functionally: Pascal JOUAN – OMS ELA Segment; Contract Lead BUCCM operationally.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the contract lifecycle management for a portfolio of high-value, technically complex contracts.
- Act as the primary interface between project teams and customer / vendor contract managers, ensuring alignment and proactive issue resolution.
- Promote contract management as a strategic function to support project execution, risk mitigation, and commercial success.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contract documents, change orders, and formal correspondence in both French and English; additional languages are a plus.
- Ensure adherence to Westinghouse’s contract policies, procedures, and compliance standards.
- Provide actionable and analytical expertise to summarize key contractual obligations and risks.
- Support commercial negotiations and contribute to business development efforts with strategic insights.
- Maintain detailed records of contractual events, decisions, and communications.
- Collaborate with Supply Chain and Legal to ensure supplier contracts reflect project needs and risk profiles.
- Drive contract close-out activities, including warranty management and final acceptance.
- Deliver impactful presentations and clear reporting to stakeholders across functions and geographies.
- Adapt to and promote Westinghouse’s global culture, values, and operational standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Law, or related field; Contract Management Certification preferred.
- 5–10 years of experience in contract management, ideally in nuclear, energy, or industrial sectors.
- Proven track record managing complex, multi-party contracts (fixed-price, cost-reimbursable, incentive-based).
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
- Fluent in French and English; proficiency in other languages is highly desirable.
- Ability to understand and interpret technical documentation and collaborate with engineering teams.
- Experience in both public and private sector contracting environments.
- Skilled in using contract management tools and platforms.
- Knowledge of FIDIC, NEC, and EDF contract frameworks is highly valued and may be considered a strong asset.
- Capable of working in a fast-paced, multicultural environment with cross-functional teams.
