Position Overview

As Chef de Partie, you play a vital role in the kitchen team, running your section with confidence and precision. You ensure dishes are prepared and presented at the highest standard, aligned with Nikki Beach’s culinary philosophy. You will mentor junior chefs, maintain impeccable food safety practices, and collaborate seamlessly with your colleagues to deliver a consistent and memorable dining experience.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare, cook, and present dishes within your section to Nikki Beach standards
  • Lead, train, and support commis chefs or apprentices in your area
  • Organize mise en place for service and special events
  • Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and compliance with food safety regulations
  • Receive, store, and organize produce in your section
  • Maintain portion control, minimize waste, and follow recipes consistently
  • Collaborate closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service flow
  • Communicate section needs and challenges to the Sous Chef or Executive Chef
  • Contribute to daily cleaning routines and deep cleaning after service
Qualifications
  • Experience as a Chef de Partie or strong background as a Demi Chef de Partie
  • Confidence in managing and delivering a section independently
  • Knowledge of cooking techniques and international cuisine
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to stay calm, focused, and efficient under pressure
