A reputable solar energy company in Lyon seeks a C&I Sales Manager to develop sales strategies for their solar inverter and BESS products. Responsibilities include managing a network of installers, training partners, and analyzing market trends. The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree in a relevant field, fluency in French, at least 3 years of experience in solar inverter sales, and strong communication skills. Proficiency in CRM software is necessary, and travel is expected up to 50% of the time.

Welcome to your new role, as our next C&I Sales Manager (CSM) !

You will have a wide array of responsibilities, such as :

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to increase market share for our solar inverter and BESS products
  • Identify, recruit, and manage a network of direct and indirect installers and system integrators
  • Provide technical and sales training to channel partners on our inverter and BESS product line
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to inform sales strategies
  • Meet or exceed sales targets by effectively managing the sales pipeline
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop targeted campaigns and materials for channel partners
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences
  • Provide regular reports on sales performance, market insights, and channel partner activities
  • Work closely with the product development team to provide market feedback and suggest product improvements

Who are you
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field; MBA is a plus
  • Fluency in French on at least C1 level, English at least B2.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in solar inverter sales or related solar energy products
  • Proven track record in developing and managing successful sales channels
  • Strong technical knowledge of solar PV systems, particularly inverter and BESS technology
  • Excellent understanding of the solar energy market, including regulations and incentives
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong business relationships
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office suite
  • Willingness to travel frequently (up to 50% of the time)
  • Driving license.
