Overview

OPIS, a quality-focused, science-driven Contract Research Organization (CRO), is looking for a motivated Business Development Associate to join our expanding global team. This is your opportunity to launch a career in business development within clinical research, backed by a structured growth plan and comprehensive support.


We offer a clear pathway to become a Business Development Manager within 18 months, and a potential promotion to Business Development Director in the following years - based on your performance and dedication.

What You'll Do

As a Business Development Associate, you will play a key role in identifying and initiating contact with potential client companies in the clinical research space. Your responsibilities will include:



  • Conducting in-depth market research to identify target companies and key decision-makers

  • Mapping organizational structures to support strategic outreach

  • Contacting potential clients via phone and email, presenting OPIS’s services with clarity and professionalism

  • Coordinating and scheduling virtual or face-to-face meetings between prospective clients and OPIS senior staff

  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date client data in our CRM system

  • Following up with leads, managing communications, and building long-term relationships


This role is global in scope and may involve engaging with clients both within your home country and across Europe.



What You Bring


  • 1–3 years of sales experience (e.g., Sales Development Representative, Business Development Representatives)

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Analytical mindset and a proactive approach to research

  • Good command of Microsoft Office and CRM tools

  • Highly organized with strong planning skills

  • Team player with a collaborative mindset

  • Must have right to work
