A leading international law firm in Paris is looking for an experienced Business Development & Marketing Advisor. You will execute the BD strategy for the Litigation, Arbitration & Investigations practice, enhancing client relationships and market profile. The role requires a strong client-focused mindset and excellent English skills. The firm offers a salary up to €72,000, a discretionary bonus, remote work options, and various additional benefits.

Prestations

Our client, a leading international law firm advising public and private companies, financial institutions and governmental organisations, is looking for an experienced, English-speaking Business Development & Marketing Advisor to join its office in the heart of Paris.

You will join the Business Development & Marketing department in a demanding, international environment, reporting to the Global Business Development Lead for the LAI practice and working as part of an international LAI-focused BDM team.

You will lead Business Development and Marketing activities for the Litigation, Arbitration & Investigations (LAI) practice in Paris, while also acting as a key point of contact for Antitrust & Foreign Investment and IP-TMT, working closely with partners and lawyers to deliver strategies aligned with global priorities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute the LAI BD strategy, linking local and global initiatives to drive growth
  • Develop and grow key LAI client relationships through strategic account support, tailored client touchpoints and effective CRM coordination
  • Support and deliver high-quality LAI pitches and RFPs, from tailored materials to post-pitch follow-up and reporting
  • Respond proactively to emerging LAI market and client opportunities through tailored materials and cross-practice collaboration
  • Enhance the firm’s LAI market profile through high-quality legal directory submissions, awards and league table reporting
  • Deliver high-quality LAI BDM collateral by ensuring accurate, client-focused materials and supporting aligned marketing campaigns and events
  • Continuously develop LAI expertise and BD capabilities through learning, training and self-improvement
  • Foster strong collaboration and clear communication across global LAI BD, sector and client teams to deliver consistent, high-quality execution
Profile
  • Previous experience in Business Development or Marketing within a professional services environment (law firm, audit firm, consulting, business advisory, etc.)
  • Strong client-focused mindset and excellent written and spoken English
Salary & Benefits
  • Up to €72,000 (13 months), depending on profile and experience
  • Discretionary bonus up to 20%, based on performance
  • Executive (forfait) status with 12 RTT days per year
  • Up to 2 days of remote work per week, after 6 months and subject to manager approval
  • 1 additional day off for your birthday
  • 2 additional days off during the firm’s closure over Christmas and New Year
