A global satellite communications leader is seeking an experienced Business Developer to expand its B2B telecom sector footprint. The successful candidate will have over 5 years of business development experience and strong industry knowledge. Fluency in English is required, with additional languages being a plus. This role is based in Issy-les-Moulineaux, France, and offers flexibility in work arrangements.

Job Overview

We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Business Developer to join our team and play a critical role. This is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact within an organization that values growth, teamwork, and professional development.

Who You Are:

We are seeking a dynamic and results‑driven Business Developer to drive growth in the B2B telecom operator segment. This role is pivotal in expanding Eutelsat’s footprint amongst Telecom operators’ BtoB and wholesales, leveraging our satellite connectivity solutions to address their and their customers’ evolving needs.

What You’ll Do:
  • Business Development & Sales
    • Identify, qualify, and lead new business opportunities with telecom operators across Europe.
    • Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of strategic accounts and partnerships in each European country.
    • Lead commercial negotiations and contract finalization.
  • Customer Relationship Management
    • Build long‑term relationships with key decision‑makers at telecom operators and their end customers.
    • Understand customer pain points and propose tailored satellite connectivity solutions.
  • Market Intelligence & Strategy
    • Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
    • Provide strategic input to product and marketing teams to align offerings with market demand.
  • Cross‑functional Collaboration
    • Work closely with Sales, Commercial, Legal, finance, and operations teams to ensure seamless delivery and customer satisfaction.
    • Support bid responses and RFPs with compelling commercial proposals
What You’ll Need:
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years in B2B business development or sales, in the telecom or satellite industry.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of telecom operator business models, network infrastructure, and connectivity needs.
  • Skills:
    • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
    • Strategic thinker with a hands‑on, results‑oriented approach.
    • Ability to work in a multicultural and cross‑functional environment.
  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
