This is an exciting opportunity for a talented qualified engineer with a maintenance, technical services and / or customer support engineering background. Ideally the candidate will have a Pilot licence - fixed or rotary wing aircraft, or experience covering Airlines to General Aviation or OEM. We are looking for someone seeking to enhance their career by joining the field of Aviation Claims Adjusting.
Reporting to the Director for France, the Aviation Surveyor will be responsible for Aviation Hull and Liability claims which involves interacting with aircraft operators, repair organisations, international Insurers, Reinsurers, Brokers and Law firms. The position involves a wide variety of project management assignments and diverse field work ranging from aircraft recovery to the handling of major accidents and liaison with authorities, manufacturers and accident investigators. Customer support is key and looking after our Clients’ interests is our primary concern.
The Aviation Surveyor will assess not only the cause of a loss but also the repair methods and costs and supervise the salvage sales when required. Issuing accident reporting to Insurers and other desktop activities, will be carried out in accordance with company procedures and with full use of the McLarens One claims management system.
The recruit will benefit from on-job training and receive support from their peers and manager in order to develop the skills necessary for this interesting and challenging role enabling them to join a dynamic surveyor network of 80 aviation experts.
