Associate Director Tools, Data and Productivity

We are searching for an experienced Associate Director Tools, Data and Productivity at our Jouy-en-Josas facility.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

As part of the merger of commercial teams historically organized by program families, HEC Paris is creating a strategic position: Associate Director for Tools, Data & Productivity within the Development and Commercial Strategy Department for Degree Programs.

Reporting to the Executive Director and serving as a member of the Executive Committee (CODIR), this role oversees the evolution of tools, processes, and key projects that support the performance of the department’s four pillars: Communication – Marketing – Recruitment – Admissions & Integration.

The position plays a central role in:

  • Operational performance
  • Data governance and utilization
  • Technological innovation (AI, automation, collaborative tools)
  • Advanced management of the Salesforce CRM, deployed in 2025
  • Change management in a large-scale transformation context

Starting January 1, 2026, the Associate Director for Tools, Data & Productivity will lead a team of three activity managers, respectively covering tools, data, productivity, and cross-functional projects. The Associate Director drives and structures the continuous improvement of candidate and employee journeys, develops innovative solutions integrating artificial intelligence, and strengthens data management within the department. He/She also contributes to market intelligence (benchmarks, competitive analyses) and ensures alignment with the entire HEC ecosystem.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Tools Development & AI Integration
  • Oversee the evolution of the CRM (including Salesforce) and performance management tools, in close collaboration with department directors.
  • Deploy AI solutions (scoring, automation, personalization, AI assistants) to optimize commercial performance, improve candidate journeys, and facilitate team workflows.
  • Structure training, adoption, and upskilling programs for optimal tool usage.
  • Ensure rigorous management of relationships with IT/IS, internal services (Purchasing, Legal, Academic Affairs), and external providers.
2. Management of Cross-Functional Projects
  • Lead high-impact strategic projects: system unification, process harmonization, automation, and workflow modernization.
  • Structure and animate an international monitoring approach on digital innovations, CRM best practices, AI applications, and operational efficiency models.
  • Act as a key entry point in implementing the One HEC program, ensuring coherence, coordination, and inter-departmental alignment.
3. Team Management & Department Structuring
  • Supervise, support, and develop activity managers.
  • Deploy a performance-driven organization focused on results and operational excellence.
  • Foster a culture of measurement, quality, continuous improvement, and service to business teams.
4. Data Governance & Market Intelligence
  • Oversee the quality, reliability, and use of CRM and analytical data.
  • Establish standards, processes, and data governance adapted to the department’s strategic challenges.
  • Design and manage benchmarking, competitive intelligence, and market analysis systems to inform strategic decision-making.
5. Internal Coordination & Strategic Contribution
  • Work closely with Communication, Marketing, Recruitment, Admissions, and Short Programs departments.
  • Ensure consistency and integration of tools and processes across the entire department.
  • Contribute to strategic discussions on organizational evolution, candidate journeys, and operational models.
Required Qualifications
  • Proven experience in managing cross-functional projects, digital transformation, or operational leadership in a complex environment.
  • Strong expertise in CRM tools (ideally Salesforce), Data, and operational applications of AI.
  • Demonstrated ability to unite, structure, and engage teams around a shared vision.
  • Strategic vision combined with strong execution and delivery capabilities.
  • Experience in higher education, consulting, or digital innovation is a plus.
