Overview

Asset Integrity Maintenance Senior Leader / Manager H/F

Position Summary: The Asset Integrity Maintenance (AIM) Senior Leader develops and implements the maintenance and inspection engineering strategies to ensure operational readiness of a PDH-PP petrochemical plant during the O&M preparation phase. This includes creating preventive maintenance and lubrication plans, asset hierarchies, inspection programs, baseline inspection dossiers, and technical procedures in line with project specifications, industry standards, and regulations. The role combines technical expertise, strategic planning, and operational leadership, overseeing a multidisciplinary engineering team (mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, inspection, reliability) to deliver the full maintenance and inspection framework. Post-commissioning, as part of the Maintenance & Inspection Department, the AIM Senior Leader will manage Asset Integrity Assessments and Life Extension programs, ensuring Safety, Quality, Productivity, and continuous improvement through lessons learned and audits.

Responsibilities
  • QHSE Compliance: Adhere to company HSE policies and procedures. Ensure delivery of safe, high-quality, and environmentally responsible maintenance solutions.
  • Maintenance Strategy Development: Define overall maintenance philosophy (aligned with ISO 55000, RCM, API). Develop preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance strategies. Lead asset criticality assessments (RCM, FMECA, RAM). Build equipment hierarchy and functional locations for future CMMS integration.
  • Asset Integrity Management: Establish inspection strategies and schedules in compliance with industry codes. Ensure maintainability and inspectability are integrated during design reviews. Approve and track baseline inspections, ensuring proper execution. During execution: Identify and address performance gaps; create and monitor improvement action plans.
  • Spare Parts Strategy: Assess and classify spares based on criticality, failure modes, and operational risk. Align spare part needs with maintenance and inspection strategies. Oversee CMMS registration and classification of integrity-critical spares. Use RBI and FMECA outputs to define lifecycle spare parts requirements.
  • Technical Leadership & Coordination: Manage and guide a multidisciplinary team of maintenance engineers. Coordinate with process, HSE, reliability, layout, and operations teams. Review vendor documentation for maintainability compliance. During execution, review subcontractor quality, HSE, and execution plans; track performance monthly.
  • O&M Documentation & Deliverables: Lead preparation of O&M engineering deliverables: Maintenance philosophy, Asset register, Maintenance plans, Spare parts strategy. Ensure compatibility with CMMS and digital asset management.
Qualifications
  • Knowledge: Engineering master’s degree or relevant working experience; Fluent in English; At least 10-15 years of experience in the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical field or related Engineering fields; 5-10 years of experience in Integrity Management (e.g., QC/Inspection, Class, Certification); General knowledge of equipment, methods, and processes used in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical maintenance engineering; HSE culture / ethics & quality orientation; Familiar with ISO 55000/ISO 14224/API is a plus.
  • Know-how: Operational experience in oil production / engineering; Project experience in asset management (at least 2 projects); Development of technical solutions in operational context; Experience with at least two of the Key Domains of asset management (RAM/RCM/RBI/SCE/Spare Part/CMMS); Planning & Microsoft Office tools; Customer relationship proficiency; Ability to manage multi-ethnic and multi-technical teams; Ability to analyse; Ability to listen and actively communicate; Proactive, initiative-taking; Understanding of strategic stakes; Profitability orientation; Team player and ability to work in a network; Able to say “No” to customer without jeopardizing the relationship.
