A global diabetes care company is looking for an Area Sales Specialist for France. You will lead sales efforts for the CGT product, support customers, and engage in market analysis. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Life Science, experience with cell culture, and fluency in French and English. This position offers a full-time role based in Avon, Île-de-France.

Areas of responsibility and result
Areas of responsibility:
- Responsible for the sales of the Bio and CGT product
- Leading role in France for sales and support for the CGT product.
- Responsible for product management for the CGT product line.
- General management, compiling databases and preparing reports.
- Identifying and communicating emerging trends of customers, products, markets and competitors.
- Developing product strategies to support objectives to be met.
Core tasks:
- Conducting sales activities.
- For the Bio product in the Sales area.
- For the CGT product in the area.
- Supporting the French sales team with the CGT product.
- participate in exhibitions.
- Supporting customers and the sales network on product-related issues. This includes follow-up with customers and/or sales team to address concerns and queries.
- Strategic customer visits with sales team in France.
- Liaise with CGT team and support the development of technical related solutions to improve overall product satisfaction.
- Informing your target audience about the products in your portfolio in terms of effectiveness, safety, price-quality ratios and other (medical scientific) benefits, often in comparison to similar products and the competition.
- Conducting market analysis for successful product and market development.
- Conducting and interpreting competitive analyses to strengthen and position products in the market.
- Developing and providing product training.
- Actively collaborate with colleagues within the company (Product Management/Sales/ Marketing/Service);
- Co-inventing, setting up and executing medical, marketing and sales projects to increase market share development and customer satisfaction.
- Daily support and assistance to customers regarding product-related questions.
- Attending (international) trade fairs, seminars and conferences to support sales and to obtain information on products, markets and competitors.

Job requirements:
· Master’s degree in Life Science is required (Cell or Molecular Biology).
· Experience with cell culture is preferred.
· NIMA-B (or similar commercial degree) degree is preferred.
· Experience with live cell metabolic analysers is recommended.
· Ability to organise, analyse, summarise and present product competently.
· Must be able to multitask and have good customer service and communication skills.
· Very good written and spoken knowledge of the English language.
· Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
· Ability to work independently and accurately, able to set priorities.
