WHAT YOU WILL DO
As Retail Operations Manager Europe, your main contribution will be responsible for driving operational excellence, consistency, and performance across retail stores in the region. This role partners closely with HOR, store managers, and cross‑functional teams to ensure best‑in‑class customer experience, efficient operations, and achievement of commercial targets while maintaining brand standards and compliance. This position requires spending a lot of time in the stores.
You will report to Head of Retail Europe. You will play a vital role by:
Regional Retail Leadership & Performance
- Act as a regional operations leader supporting store and country teams to deliver commercial targets and operational excellence across the region
- Drive consistent execution of retail strategies, standards, and priorities while allowing for local market needs
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (sales, productivity, conversion, inventory, shrink) and partner with regional and store leadership to identify opportunities and improvement plans
- Support the Head of Retail and regional leadership with insights, recommendations, and performance reviews
Operational Excellence & Commercial Support
- Support the implementation and continuous improvement of retail operating frameworks across the region
- Partner closely with store managers and country teams to strengthen operational capabilities that enable sales growth, efficiency, and customer experience
- Contribute to regional initiatives aimed at improving productivity, cost awareness, and operational scalability
- Support store network changes (e.g. openings, closures, refurbishments) from an operational readiness and performance perspective
Compliance, Risk & Governance
- Ensure a strong culture of compliance and risk awareness across the retail organization's region
- Partner with global and regional stakeholders (Legal, HR, Risk) to support the rollout of clear, practical compliance frameworks aligned with local regulations and global standards
- Oversee a high‑level regional approach to health & safety, operational risk, and governance, ensuring stores are supported and issues are addressed in a timely manner
- Support regional compliance reviews, audits, and incident management processes, ensuring appropriate follow‑up and continuous improvement
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
- Act as a key liaison between retail operations and HQ functions including Finance, HR, IT, Merchandising, Supply Chain, and Training
- Support effective collaboration to ensure retail priorities are understood, aligned, and executed across the region
- Contribute to regional and global projects impacting retail operations and ways of working
- Track and review regional operational and compliance performance at a high level
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, tools, and ways of working while maintaining brand standards and compliance
- Provide clear, concise reporting and insights to the Head of Retail and Global Operations teams
People, Capability & Change
- Support store and regional leaders in building strong operational capability and accountability
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and adaptability across the region
- Support change management initiatives by clearly communicating priorities, updates, and expectations across the region

Specific experience and knowledge for this role:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Retail Management, or a related field
- 5‑7+ years of retail operations experience, including multi‑country or regional responsibility
- Strong understanding of retail KPIs, store operations, and operational best practices
- Proven experience managing complexity across multiple markets and cultures
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Willingness to travel frequently within the region
- Fluent in English
