Qualifications

  • 7+ années d'expérience en gestion de comptes ou développement commercial dans l'assurance.
  • Expérience avérée dans la gestion et la croissance de comptes stratégiques.
  • Maîtrise obligatoire du français et de l'anglais.

You will join the Revenue Office, which is at the forefront of Wakam’s European growth strategy. Our mission is to expand Wakam’s presence across Europe by building and scaling high-impact partnerships with MGAs, brokers, fintechs, insurtechs, retailers, and marketplaces.

We operate across 32 countries, and our commercial team reflects that international scope: agile, collaborative, data-driven, and closely connected to local market realities.

As a Senior Account Manager, your mission is to lead and grow a portfolio of strategic and high-potential accounts, ensuring sustainable, profitable growth and long-term partnerships. You will be the executive-level point of contact for key partners and a cross-functional orchestrator inside Wakam.

Responsibilities
  • Own and manage a portfolio of top-tier strategic partners (brokers, MGAs, insurtechs, fintechs, retailers, marketplaces) at senior stakeholder level.
  • Define and drive account strategies and business plans (growth, profitability, product roadmap, international expansion).
  • Ensure high-quality operational coordination with internal teams (Underwriting, Pricing, Delivery, Compliance, Legal, Claims, Finance).
  • Be a power user of Wakam’s internal tools (MyWakam, CRM, AI agents, dashboards) to steer performance and anticipate issues.
  • Identify and execute upselling, cross-selling, and product extension opportunities, including new geographies and channels.
  • Monitor and challenge account profitability and technical performance in close collaboration with Finance and Underwriting.
  • Represent Wakam in steering committees, governance bodies, and key client meetings, including at C‑level.
  • Contribute to structuring the Account Management practice (playbooks, best practices, mentoring more junior team members).
What You Bring
  • A Master’s degree (Bac+5) in Business, Insurance, Finance, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in Account Management, Key Account Management, or Business Development within the insurance or Insurtech.
  • A proven track record of managing and growing strategic accounts, ideally in a multi-country or multi-partner context.
  • Strong commercial acumen and the ability to lead complex, multi-stakeholder projects (internal and external).
  • Demonstrated experience in negotiation, contract management, and portfolio steering (volumes, margins, loss ratios, and performance KPIs).
  • Advanced use of CRM and digital tools, with a data-driven mindset and comfort with dashboards and analytical insights.
  • Mandatory fluency in French and English (spoken and written); an additional European language is a plus.
  • A strategic and analytical thinker with a strong business and P&L mindset.
  • Naturally customer- and partner-oriented, able to build trust-based relationships at senior and C‑level.
  • Autonomous, structured, and proactive, capable of owning topics from strategy to execution.
  • Motivated by performance, impact, and measurable results, with a focus on long-term value creation.
  • Tech-savvy, comfortable with digital environments, and at ease in a fast-paced, evolving context.
  • A team player and role model, ready to share best practices and contribute to the development of the Revenue Office.
