Account Manager France – Masterbatches

Summary:
The Account Manager is responsible for managing assigned customers and improving sales of Masterbatch products within a specific region. This role involves budget responsibility, strategic planning for sales volume and gross margin, and aligning sales activities with the company's strategic direction. Key tasks include developing sales solutions, enhancing customer value, conducting customer visits (60%-80% travel), acquiring new clients, and overseeing product orders and samples. The position also requires close cooperation with the Customer Service Centre and support for the accounting department with debt collection and customer requirements.

Objectives:

  • As a sales representative, take care of assigned customers according to regional responsibilities and cooperate with the Customer Service Centre.
  • Improve income and sales for all Masterbatch products according to individually agreed targets.
  • Ensure achievement of objectives and operative work follow the company's strategic direction.

Your Tasks:

  • Budget responsibility for the sales region.
  • Strategic planning of sales, volume, and gross margin.
  • Realize corporate strategy in terms of sales and operative work.
  • Proactive development of sales solutions.
  • Extend customer value through sales of standard and/or high-margin products.
  • Operative planning (e.g., customer visits and appointments).
  • Operative reporting (e.g., reports on visits, orders, etc.).
  • Support existing customers at their sites.
  • Acquire new customers.
  • Proactive and strategic use of technical resources (TS-MB).
  • Travelling activity 60%-80%.

Individual Tasks:

  • Manage customer orders for the sales region with support from Customer Service.
  • Overview and successful completion of product samples.
  • Overview and successful completion of customer orders.
  • Support the accounting department with debt collection.
  • Identify individual customers' requirements (e.g., customer visits).
