About The Job

Since Alma’s inception in 2019, the company has experienced exponential growth, with hundreds of new merchants adopting our solutions monthly and thousands of new customers using Alma for the first time.

Currently, Alma works with over 21,000 merchants across 10 European countries. Acquiring new merchants remains a key challenge. As an Account Executive Inbound, you will support merchants expressing interest in our solutions, managing the entire sales cycle, and being integral to Alma's sales team.

About The Mission

In this role, covering the SMB sector in France and Spain, your responsibilities include:

  • Processing all incoming leads from various sources for merchants with annual sales under €10M.
  • Organizing introductory meetings to qualify leads.
  • Managing the entire sales cycle from qualification to the merchant’s first sale.
  • Optimizing Alma’s take rate of activated merchants.
  • Tracking sales activities using CRM tools.

About You

You are a suitable candidate if you have:

  • 1-2 years of relevant experience in roles such as Sales Development Representative, Business Development Representative, Inside Sales, or Inbound Account Executive.
  • Fluency in French, with professional proficiency in Spanish and English.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Commercial acumen, comfortable managing the full sales cycle, negotiation, and closing deals.

About The Recruitment Process

  • Initial interview with Recruiter (30 min).
  • Interview with Hiring Manager (45 min).
  • Business case study (60 min).
  • Final on-site interviews with VP Sales and team (each 30 min).
  • Reference checks.
