Alantra is recognized as a top independent advisor in Structured Finance and Asset-Backed Securities (SFABS) across Europe, the Americas, and Asia-Pacific. Our approach is based on a deep understanding of underlying assets and market-leading analytical capabilities. The team has extensive experience across credit assets, from distressed loans to performing receivables and real estate assets, providing independent, unconflicted advice.

The SFABS team includes over 15 senior professionals, with approximately 50 credit specialists dedicated to securitization and structured finance transactions, leveraging our global FIG footprint and local credit expertise.

Since joining Alantra, the FIG team has advised on securitization transactions totaling around €15bn in gross book value over the past two years, including some of the largest transactions in the UK, Greece, Cyprus, Spain, and the Americas. Recognized for excellence, the team has received awards such as Advisor of the Year in SCI's Non-Performing Loans Securitization Awards 2022 and Project Galaxy Transaction of the Year.

The team offers bespoke senior and mezzanine financing, sourcing commitments of junior equity and growth capital, arranging forward flow transactions, structuring rated and unrated ABS transactions, and executing significant risk transfer (SRT) transactions to optimize funding and capital, with capabilities in pricing, valuation, and legal documentation analysis.

We are seeking a Senior VP or Director with 5-7 years of experience in Secured Finance and Asset-Backed Securities, with expertise in all types of securitizations and synthetic transactions. The candidate should be fully committed, hardworking, and a team player, with a strong interest in the FIG sector and the ability to work independently.

• Native Spanish speaker
• Fluent in English (speaking and writing)
• Based in Madrid, or currently in London or Milan, with a willingness to relocate
• Extensive experience in synthetic securitizations and all types of securitizations
• Fluent in securitization regulation
• Focus on the Iberian market, with the ability to cover other countries
• Previous sector experience
• Strong modeling skills, with Python modeling as a plus
• Good relationships with rating agencies
• Ability to independently review legal documentation
• Valuation skills
• Strong interest in the FIG sector
• Collaborative attitude and team capabilities

Chief level experience preferred.
