HEAD OF FINANCE
To lead and coordinate the financial and administrative activities of BU, in accordance with the company's policies, the guidelines of the Managing Director and SVP International Finance & Strategic to establish the appropriate financial structure for the development of its activities, as well as to guarantee the preparation and management of the information necessary for decision-making. international Finance group across multiple geographies and jurisdictions.
- Strategic Finance Leadership: Acts as a key business partner to regional leadership, shaping strategy and providing data-driven financial insights to support decision-making in commercial area and market growth across Spain and Portugal.
- Finance Transformation Champion: Leads the transition of finance operations (accounting, AP/AR) to a shared service model, ensuring seamless process migration, documentation, and operational continuity.
- Technical Finance Expertise: Brings deep knowledge in accounting, tax, compliance, internal audit, transfer pricing, and FP&A, with a strong command of local statutory requirements and SOX compliance
- Insights & Analytics Development: Builds and mentors a high-performing analytics team to deliver actionable insights, advanced financial modeling, and performance reporting aligned with business objectives
- Operational Excellence & Cost Management: Drives cost efficiency and Capex management through robust planning, variance analysis, and alignment of cost drivers with business scale and strategy
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Partners effectively with global and regional teams, aligning financial forecasts and metrics, and ensuring consistent communication with auditors, banks, and financial authorities.
- Leadership & Team Development: Leads and develops a regional finance team, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
JOB REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
MINIMUM EDUCATION
Finance Degree or Equivalent recognized qualification in Finance
Degree/Masters in Finance/Business
LANGUAGE
Excellent command of spoken and written English
REQUIRED LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
More than 6-8 years Leading and managing a local finance function
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
Leading a Local Finance function within media/telco/streaming sector. Experience with matrix organizations and shared services is required.
