As a Stream Lead Business Intelligence and Analytics (m / f / d) in an international SAP S/4HANA greenfield implementation project you will manage team activities, coordinate local solution design, and oversee scope and resources within the BI & Analytics stream for Liebherr's SAP implementation project. This role ensures adherence to project methodologies and collaborates closely with the LIS project manager, external lead consultant, integration management, business process owners, and product owners to deliver world‑class BI solutions supporting Liebherr's business operations.

LOCATION

Please note that the working location for this position will be in Madrid city where we are currently setting up a new office location. Until the office is fully set‑up within the next few months you will have the possibility to work flexibly from home‑office and continue with a hybrid working model afterwards. This position is not a fully remote position and an onsite presence will be required once our office location is ready.

Creating passion: your responsibilities

• Stream Leadership & Management: Lead the Liebherr Data & Analytics stream across assigned pilot implementations, managing internal team activities and coordinating local solution design. Support the global BI roadmap while overseeing scope, resources, and change requests ensuring all activities align with Liebherr's business objectives.
• BI / Analytics Solution Design: Design and deliver BI / Analytics solutions using Databricks, SAP Analytics Cloud, and Datasphere (BDC). Define data models, ETL pipelines, and integration approaches ensuring data quality governance and high‑performance reporting.
• SAP‑Databricks Integration: Lead the integration of SAP S/4HANA with Databricks to enable seamless, reliable and compliant data flows. Implement and optimize pipelines for stability and scalability.
• Project Delivery & Methodology Compliance: Ensure compliance with Liebherr's project delivery methodology by contributing to planning, progress reporting, risk identification, and resource management. Monitor progress, address deviations, and secure completion of all BI & Analytics deliverables in collaboration with BPOs, POs, and external consultants.
• Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with project management, external lead consultants, integration teams, business process owners, and product owners to coordinate integrated solution designs for SAP and non‑SAP BI / Analytics platforms. Align on cross‑functional requirements and proactively raise and manage risks and issues with the appropriate stakeholders.
• Pilot Implementation Focus: Serve as stream lead for assigned pilot locations translating business requirements into technical BI / Analytics specifications. Coordinate with local stakeholders to ensure operational fit, support change management and training activities and maintain alignment with global standards and regional requirements.

Contributing your strengths: your qualifications

• You are a committed expert with a degree in business administration, adult education, business informatics, or a comparable field with extensive experience in Business Intelligence & Analytics.
• Professional experience: At least 6 years experience in data and analytics preferably in manufacturing or industrial environments. Experience in implementing enterprise BI platforms such as Databricks, SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP BW/4HANA, or similar.
• Technical skills: Extensive expertise in Databricks and cloud‑based BI platforms such as SAP Analytics Cloud or SAP BusinessObjects with proven experience integrating SAP S/4HANA and Databricks. Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA data models and manufacturing‑related integration points combined with solid knowledge in manufacturing analytics, production reporting and industrial KPIs as well as BPMN process modeling and change impact assessment.
• Industry knowledge: Solid understanding of manufacturing business processes including production, quality, maintenance, sales and service. Familiar with industrial equipment lifecycle management and service operations with experience in multi‑national manufacturing environments; knowledge of the construction equipment or heavy machinery industry is an advantage.
• Soft skills: Demonstrated leadership and team coordination skills with excellent communication in English and Spanish (German an advantage). Strong stakeholder management experience in cross‑functional international manufacturing environments and a proven ability to manage scope, timelines and deliverables in complex industrial projects.
• Mobility: Willingness to travel internationally for project assignments.
