A leading biotech company is seeking a DCS Senior Sales Specialist in Madrid, Spain. The successful candidate will develop and execute sales plans in the life sciences sector, specifically in NGS, single-cell, and multi-omics products. This role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of sales experience, alongside a strong technical understanding of sequencing workflows. The candidate will participate in events to enhance product awareness and build lasting relationships with customers.

Formación

  • 5+ years of life sciences sales experience, including 2–3 years in NGS or multi-omics.
  • Strong technical understanding of sequencing workflows.

DCS Senior Sales Specialist

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales plans, ensuring alignment with broader organizational goals and market conditions.
  • Identify, qualify, and manage new business opportunities in academic research institutions, core facilities and relevant targeted customer segment.
  • Lead complex sales cycles, from opportunity identification through negotiation and successful close.
  • Provide consultative sales support by deeply understanding customer workflows in single-cell, multi-omics, and spatial applications.
  • Participate in conferences, trade shows, and customer workshops to promote product portfolio awareness and strengthen brand presence.
  • Maintain accurate records of opportunities, forecasts, and customer interactions in CRM systems.
  • Build long-term customer relationships through routine visits, pipeline management, and post-sales support coordination.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences (Molecular Biology, Genomics, Biotechnology, or related field); 5+ years of life science sales experience, with at least 2–3 years selling NGS, single-cell, spatial, or multi-omics products.
  • Strong technical understanding of sequencing workflows, including single-cell, spatial transcriptomics, library prep, and data-analysis considerations.
  • Proven ability to work independently, prioritize high-impact opportunities, and manage a complex sales cycle.
  • Working language is English, additional language is beneficial.
