A leading wind energy company is seeking a Technical Specialist in Wind Farm Construction and Tendering. The role involves technical preparation of project quotations and collaborating with various departments to ensure project success. Candidates should possess a relevant engineering degree and have experience in wind farm erection and tender processes. Proficiency in MS-Office and excellent communication skills are essential. This position is based in Spain with occasional travel requirements.

Technical Specialist in Wind Farm Construction and Tendering (m/f/d)

REQUISITION ID: 10485

LOCATION: Tajonar, ES, 31192

MISSION: Technical and commercial preparation of quotations for Concrete and Hybrid Towers projects in the Sales Phase, under NX norms and standards, involving internal areas of tendering and sourcing. Support the business development of the Full Concrete and Hybrid towers Globally.

TASKS:

• Discuss technical topics related to the installation of the Windfarms. Actively communicate with other departments such as Construction, Sales, Cost, supporting and guiding the customer’s expectations for the best technical, logistical and commercial solutions, which will provide them with the best set up for their project.
• Develop the concrete and hybrid towers business worldwide, understanding wind market trends and needs, being in close contact with the sales organization.
• Deliver accurate, transparent and competitive budgets for concrete towers in the Sales phase including manufacturing, pre‑assembly operations, construction and BOP.
• Analyze and prepare the information provided by Sales to understand the outcome of the projects. Coordinate the timing of the tender process, providing fast insight to the different areas that need to be aligned.
• Support improvement of the organization and management of the tendering processes such as collection, classification and information storage.
• Provide project‑specific Concrete Tower schedules for the Project.
• Improve the available supplier and cost information and use it in the best possible way to improve costs.
• Promote internal meetings to align final cost to be delivered to the Global Tender Office and PM.
• Review contractual terms and conditions and tender documentation to identify specific requirements and red flags.
• Ensure that all documents are accurate, up to date, signed (if required) and provided in a timely manner.
• Conduct won/lost analyses and identify best practices to win bids.
• Build and maintain the company tender documentation library.

YOUR PROFILE:

• Having technical knowledge of the installation procedures in wind farms is a key point.
• Experience in the erection of wind farms.
• Bachelor or Master Engineering, ADE or other technical studies with experience in Nordex processes and components.
• Experience in a similar position: tender, negotiation, contract management... it is a plus.
• Very good familiarity with MS‑Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, Power BI).
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Good organizational skills.
• Curiosity, open‑mindedness, and ability to learn quickly.
• Motivated person accustomed to working independently.
• Work in a dynamic atmosphere, in a fast‑growing company.
• Enjoy collaborating with intercultural teams and international clients.
• Very good English skills in writing and speaking.
• Willingness to travel abroad (few trips).
