In this role, you will develop and execute marketing strategies while collaborating with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have a degree in marketing and at least 3 years of experience in a similar role. Proficiency in English is mandatory, with additional languages preferred. This is a full-time position.

Kidde Commercial has an opportunity for a Marketing Communications Specialist COMMERCIAL FIRE in Barcelona, Spain. This role will support and contribute to the Marketing and Marcom team for the Commercial Fire Business Unit. As a Marketing Communications Specialist you will be responsible for the planning and execution of marcom related activities, such as social media visibility (LinkedIn marketing campaigns), marketing campaigns aligned with brand guidelines and storytelling message, internal and external announcements and website management.

What will you be doing as Marketing Communications Specialist COMMERCIAL FIRE? :
  • Develop and execute a results-driven, multi-platform communications strategy and plan in line with corporate and brand direction, while reflecting local priorities in conjunction with the Marketing and Marcom manager (PR and media comms).
  • Implement online marketing activities including social media, SEO/SEM, demand generation, lead generation, etc.; track the effectiveness of the campaigns.
  • Lead the planning and implementation of PR and initiatives related to the brand.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams and external agencies to ensure consistent brand messaging and communication.
  • Establish strong relationships with Sales Teams and Channel Representatives to validate the marketing communication aligned with the product direction.
  • Support Product Management team with the competitive teardowns of products to understand product differentiation and define the value proposition for our solution.
  • Conduct market research to find answers about consumer requirements, habits and trends.
  • Organize, implement, and maintain the tactical day-to-day activities needed.
To be successful in this role you will need:
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, or related field or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Prior experience in a similar role (3+ years of marcom experience a plus)
  • Proficiency in developing, executing and measuring demand-generation programs that keep customers and prospects engaged throughout the funnel.
  • Thorough understanding of marketing elements (including traditional and digital marketing such as SEO/Social media etc.) and market research methods.
  • Demonstrable experience in marketing data analytics and tools.
  • Solid computer skills, including MS Office, marketing software (Adobe Creative Suite & CRM) and applications (Web analytics, Google Adwords etc.).
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS and web development tools (e.g. Dreamweaver) desired
  • A strong network of PR and media contacts would be highly advantageous
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English (native preferred); additional languages would be a plus (Italian, French or German)
  • Exceptional verbal & written communication skills.
  • Self-starter, initiative-taking, great team player, enthusiastic.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and are adept at building relationships with different stakeholders
  • Willingness to travel (up to 20% of time).
