Software Development Engineer III
Introduction to team
Private Label Solutions (PLS) is the B2B arm of Expedia Group. We open up our supply and innovative technology to businesses looking to take on the world of travel. These businesses, sometimes referred to as our ‘demand partners’, include global financial institutions (e.g. AMEX), corporate managed travel, offline travel agents (e.g. Flight Centre), global travel suppliers (e.g. Delta) and many more.
In this role, you will :
Write high-quality, maintainable, and testable code in
Java, Kotlin, TypeScript, Python , or other modern stacks. Build across the full stack —
frontend web applications ,
backend services ,
APIs , and
data flows . Work in a
cross-functional Agile team , participating in all development phases from planning to production. Provide
technical mentorship , conduct code reviews, and engage in architectural discussions. Continuously improve systems for
scalability, performance , and
resilience . Collaborate with stakeholders to shape product direction and make architecture decisions.
Experience and qualifications :
We value curiosity, creativity, and a passion for building great products. While we don’t believe in rigid checklists, experience or interest in the following areas is a plus : Strong programming skills in modern languages ( Java, Kotlin, Python, JavaScript , etc.) Experience with frontend frameworks like
React, Vue , or
Angular Understanding of backend technologies and
RESTful APIs Knowledge of
cloud platforms
such as
AWS ,
GCP , or
Azure Familiarity with
SQL and NoSQL
databases Solid understanding of
computer science fundamentals
data structures, algorithms, system design) Passion for
