About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Software Engineer to integrate our diffusion model and other cutting-edge AI research into production systems. You'll work at the intersection of AI and infrastructure (30 / 70 split), ensuring our GPU-intensive workloads scale seamlessly in production environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Deploy and optimize our proprietary diffusion model in production environments
• Design and maintain large-scale GPU-based services on Google Cloud Platform
• Build containerized inference pipelines using Docker and Kubernetes on GCP
• Develop robust backend systems integrating PyTorch models with production infrastructure
• Implement real-time data pipelines using Google Firestore and other GCP services
• Monitor, profile, and optimize GPU workload performance at scale
• Collaborate with our AI researchers to transform latest research into production-ready systems

Qualifications

• Proven experience in software / infrastructure development focused on AI / ML Systems
• Strong proficiency with Google Cloud Platform services (Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Storage, etc.)
• Expert-level Python skills with hands-on experience in PyTorch
• Demonstrated experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerized GPU inference on GCP
• Track record of building and maintaining large-scale GPU-based services
• Experience with Google Firestore or similar NoSQL databases
• Understanding of GPU optimization techniques and distributed computing

Nice to Have

• Experience with diffusion models or generative AI systems
• Experience in observability, monitoring and performance tuning for GPU-heavy services. Tracking latency, error rates and utilization
