Formación

• 5 años de experiencia en roles de contabilidad/finanzas, preferentemente en el sector energético.
• Conocimiento en IFRS 9, IFRS 13 y PGC.
• Fluidez en español e inglés (oral y escrito).

Responsabilidades

• Asegurar la contabilidad precisa y los informes de acuerdo con IFRS y GAAP.
• Supervisar y apoyar un pequeño equipo.
• Gestionar la contabilidad de operaciones de trading.

We’re looking for a Senior Trading Accountant to join our Finance & Accounting team in Madrid , supporting the Energy Management & Trading operations within ENGIE España.

Your Mission :

• Ensure accurate accounting and reporting under IFRS and Spanish GAAP , including monthly closings and annual financial statements.
• Supervise and support a small team (2 people), reporting to the Accounting & Consolidation Manager.
• Oversee fixed assets, provisions, income tax, and operating expenses.
• Support the accounting definition of trading operations (including derivatives) in coordination with Finance and Middle Office.
• Manage reporting in SAP BPC and support audits and tax queries.
• Coordinate with stakeholders across GEMS, Front Office and Controlling teams.

What we’re looking for :

• 5 years of experience in Finance / Accounting roles, ideally in the energy or trading sector.
• In-depth knowledge of IFRS 9, IFRS 13 and Local GAAP (PGC articles).
• Understanding of energy markets (OMIE, MIBGAS, REE, clearing houses) is a plus.
• Experience with ETRM systems (Meteor, Orchestrade) and SAP FI / BPC is valued.
• Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills.
• Fluency in Spanish and English (oral and written).
