Overview

Role : Senior Golang Software Engineer

Location : based in Barcelona - hybrid working model

Contract type : Our client is building a disruptive platform redefining customer experience through advanced technologies, including AI-driven solutions and intelligent automation. Over the past 18 months, their business landscape has evolved rapidly, creating the need to scale their engineering capabilities to keep pace with growing market demand.

Responsibilities

• Strong backend engineering experience with distributed systems and cloud platforms
• Proficiency in GoLang plus hands-on experience with gRPC, Terraform, and related tooling (Auth0, Datadog, TypeScript / Next.js a plus)
• Advocates for Test-Driven Development and modern engineering best practices
• Skilled with Git-based workflows and collaboration tools (GitHub, CI / CD)
• You express ideas clearly and professionally, both in writing and speaking
• You actively seek input and turn it into actionable improvements

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of software design principles (SOLID, DDD, Hexagonal Architecture) and a commitment to clean, maintainable code
• Professional-level English communication, written and spoken
