A Senior QA Specialist at Omega helps ensure the quality of the final product by understanding all processes involved in QA. They should have strong knowledge of the tools required for their work and analytical skills to define comprehensive test cases based on experience. They will also manage less experienced team members across different projects, including task assignment and coordination.

Main Responsibilities

  • Create comprehensive test cases based on documentation or business requirements, defining expected results.
  • Identify potential risks or issues from inconsistencies in project requirements.
  • Support execution of test cases, report results with detail.
  • Manage defects using project management tools, prepare tracking reports.
  • Collaborate with and support clients during UAT.
  • Provide task estimations.
  • Report progress on tasks or responsibilities.
  • Demonstrate strong command of QA tools.
  • Gain and consolidate functional knowledge of the project.
  • Detect and communicate risks/issues early.
  • Contribute solutions to risks/issues during development.
  • Collaborate on testing strategy and QA phases.
  • Act as a reference for less experienced team members, managing QA tasks across projects.
  • Identify tools to improve task efficiency.
  • Ensure quality of test plans and executions by the team.
  • Monitor incidents and defects detected by the team or themselves.

Mandatory Skills

  • At least 4 years in a similar role.
  • Ability to analyze documentation, create test cases, execute manual tests, report defects.
  • Support development team by reviewing and ensuring code quality.
  • Basic knowledge of test automation tools like Selenium, Katalon, or UFT.
  • ISTQB certification is a plus.
  • Experience with Salesforce projects.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Knowledge of defect management tools like Jira.
  • English proficiency at C1 level.
