The Senior Project Manager will be based out of Nextrackers Madrid, Spain office. In this role, you will oversee a team of Project Managers within the EU region, ensuring best-in-class service for their assigned customers. You will also ensure safety protocols are followed on project sites, manage customer accounts and projects from procurement to commissioning, provide technical support, and maintain customer satisfaction. Responsibilities include overseeing customer accounts, managing project teams, handling project finances, coordinating logistics, and advocating for customer needs within the company.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure safety for yourself and all staff, contractors, and visitors on project sites, understanding WHS principles and safety management.
• Comply with NEXTracker policies and procedures.
• Manage customer accounts or projects from PO to commissioning, taking ownership of all aspects.
• Manage a team of 5 or more direct reports, including Project Managers and Senior Project Managers.
• Support the development of direct reports.
• Provide technical support to customers, ensuring a top-tier customer experience with expertise in product and systems.
• Develop technical understanding of PV solar tracking systems and related tools.
• Ensure a strong customer care experience, effectively communicating resolutions for customer issues.
• Coordinate ordering of tools and ensure availability and training.
• Manage project P&L, including revenue forecasting, invoicing, cash flow, and costs.
• Support installation and quality control, resolving quality issues via NCR and CDR processes.
• Coordinate timely delivery of products from PO to delivery, liaising with engineering, supply, logistics, and customers.
• Establish, measure, and report KPIs for customer care to improve performance.
• Contribute to cross-functional product teams, providing recommendations based on system integration and customer feedback.
• Support product development, sales, and marketing as needed.
• Act as an internal advocate for the customer within NEXTracker.

Qualifications:

• 5-10 years of experience in project management within energy, construction, mining, oil & gas sectors.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Strong project management skills and qualifications.
• Experience managing teams with professionalism.
• Experience with supply chain, procurement, and logistics.
• Experience handling customer support and O&M issues.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Leadership capabilities.
• Passion for solar or renewable energy.
• Knowledge of PV technology and applications.
• Hands-on experience with photovoltaic tracking systems is a plus.
