The Role

As a Senior Platform Engineer, you will design and build the global Signicat Digital Trust Platform to support all digital identity needs across borders, enhancing the customer journey. We seek an innovative and passionate engineer to join our Platform Tribe, helping to design, build, and manage the systems and infrastructure behind our services. You will collaborate with engineers, product managers, and security experts to improve user experiences. We work on exciting projects, always pushing boundaries to accelerate trusted digital business.

How you'll make an impact

• Design robust, manageable systems considering edge cases, failure modes, and lifecycle management, utilizing best solutions and tools.
• Collaborate with product owners to develop platform capabilities that speed up feature deployment, ensuring systems are observable, reliable, and easy to deploy.
• Advocate and practice DevOps best practices.
• Mentor and guide team members on platform-level solutions across products.
• Contribute to defining the platform and technology roadmap.

Core Requirements

• Experience in programming, preferably Golang or C++.
• Exposure to WebRTC or video conferencing tech.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes and networking.
• Hands-on experience is key; deep seniority is not mandatory.

Technical Skills & Experience

• Designing, building, and deploying scalable services.
• Decomposing systems to address performance, reliability, security, scalability, usability, and compliance.
• Managing and debugging distributed systems.
• Experience with cloud-native tools like Kubernetes, Istio, cert-manager, Open Policy Agent (OPA).
• Proficiency with major Cloud PaaS such as Google Cloud, AWS, or Azure.
• Comfort working with high-volume transactional systems.
