About the Role:

Camunda seeks a Senior Manager, Product Management to lead our Task Automation and Modelling stream, focusing on components that unify business and IT. This includes the modelling experience and automation capabilities powering our platform—Connectors, RPA, Forms, IDP, and DMN.

You will lead product teams creating an intuitive modelling environment and a flexible automation framework supporting the entire automation lifecycle—from integration to human interaction and decision automation. Your goal is to deliver a seamless product experience for technical and business users to model, automate, and orchestrate work effortlessly.

This is a strategic, cross-functional leadership role. You will collaborate with engineering, design, and other product leaders to define the roadmap, improve UX, and ensure scalability and adoption.

What you'll be doing:

• Foster continuous improvement by sharing best practices, encouraging knowledge exchange, and facilitating cross-team collaboration.

• Lead a team of (currently 4) Senior Product Managers and collaborate with cross-functional partners to shape vision and roadmap, balancing technical depth with business needs.

• Drive alignment and transparency across teams, ensuring clear communication of priorities, timelines, and objectives.

• Balance fast delivery with enterprise-grade performance, reliability, and scalability.

What you bring:

• Ability and willingness to use our product

• Extensive product management experience in a highly technical B2B software environment, ideally with platform or engine-level products.

• Proven leadership skills in bringing diverse teams together, building consensus, and co-creating strategies.

• Strong technical acumen for effective communication and problem-solving with engineering on performance, scalability, and architecture.

• An inclusive, team-first mindset that values listening, knowledge sharing, and respecting diverse perspectives.

Nice-to-haves:

• Experience with no-code or pro-code tools supporting multiple personas, enabling collaboration between business and technical users.

• Experience with BPMN or process automation tools to accelerate impact on Camunda’s core offerings.

• Experience managing products for global enterprise users to inform scalability and compliance strategies.

Compensation

For external hires, we consider skills and experience, typically placing candidates in the lower half of the range for growth potential. The annual Total Cash range for this role varies by country:

• United States: $181,000 – $271,500

• Germany: €120,400 – €180,600

• UK: £117,300 – £176,000

• Singapore: S$224,800 – S$337,200
