A logistics solutions company in Madrid is seeking a SENIOR LOGISTICS / OPERATIONS MANAGER to oversee and optimize the operations of its e-commerce Logistics Operations Center. The ideal candidate will have over 4 years of experience managing logistics teams, hold a relevant university degree, and possess strong English and Spanish language skills. This is a 100% on-site position focused on client communication, team leadership, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Formación

  • More than 4 years of experience in logistics positions managing large teams.
  • Fluent level of English (B2) and advanced Spanish (C1).
  • Experience in Lean or continuous improvement is valuable.

Responsabilidades

  • Manage the operations team, ensuring a people-centered culture.
  • Develop managers and ensure team leadership.
  • Optimize logistics processes, including returns and product reconditioning.
  • Monitor KPIs related to safety, quality, and productivity.

We are looking for the best SENIOR LOGISTICS / OPERATIONS MANAGER willing to participate in the growth of an important e-commerce Logistics Operations Center of one of our top customers in the south of Madrid.

Mission

Reporting directly to the Site Manager, the mission of the position is to manage the logistics center, organizing and supervising the different operational and management areas by leading the teams of this operation.

Responsibilities
  • Managing the operations team, creating a people‑centred culture.
  • Ensure compliance with service quality and team management coordination.
  • Main point of daily communication with clients to meet their needs and requirements.
  • Development of Managers in charge and ensuring the leadership of all team members.
  • Management of the productive activities of the work centre.
  • Supervision / optimization of logistics processes, including returns and product reconditioning.
  • Maintaining customer relations, satisfying their needs and responding to incidents.
  • Establish a continuous improvement plan and lean culture.
  • Monitoring KPI (safety, quality, productivity, etc).
  • Planning of campaigns and resources based on the client's needs.
Requirements
  • More than 4 years of experience in similar LOGISTICS positions MANAGING large teams
  • University degree (valuable Master in logistics or supply chain management)
  • Fluent level of ENGLISH (B2)
  • Advanced level of SPANISH (C1)
  • Valuable experience in Lean / Continuous improvement
  • Role 100% on-site.
