ROLE & PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

We’re looking for a Senior HR Systems Specialist to manage, optimise and technically support our HRIS systems, with a strong focus on hands‑on configuration, data integrity, troubleshooting and system enhancements.

You will have an active role in shaping and enhancing the HR systems landscape (including SAP SuccessFactors and SAP HCM) through hands‑on configuration, testing and ongoing optimisation activities.

The ideal candidate combines strong system ownership with the ability to independently configure and enhance solutions, leveraging low‑code and basic programming capabilities to drive efficiency and continuous improvement.

THIS APPEALS TO YOU

• Manage and maintain the HRIS system landscape, including hands‑on system configuration, data integrity, troubleshooting and user support.
• Serve as a point of contact for HRIS‑related inquiries and provide timely resolution or escalate issues as necessary.
• During SAP SuccessFactors implementation and ongoing enhancements, actively contribute to system configuration, testing and validation, issue resolution and hyper‑care support.
• Perform routine audits and control checks to detect and address data inconsistencies or errors within the HRIS, including generating reports to pinpoint data quality issues.
• Develop, document, and maintain HR tool processes, procedures, and data management practices, while identifying and implementing improvements to enhance system efficiency, process consistency, and user satisfaction.
• Provide technical support to HR users and develop and deliver HRIS training programmes to ensure users can effectively navigate the system, utilise its functionalities, and follow best practices.
• Use low‑code or basic programming skills (e.g. VBA, Python, scripting) to support automation, improve reporting and reduce manual processes.
• Identify and implement system and process improvements to enhance efficiency, stability and user experience.
• Collaborate with HR stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into practical, technical system solutions.
• Support system upgrades, implementations and integrations through hands‑on testing, configuration, documentation and troubleshooting.
• Ensure data privacy and security by maintaining appropriate controls and protocols.

THIS IS YOU

• Proven experience managing and supporting HRIS systems, ideally SAP SuccessFactors, SAP HCM or similar platforms.
• Practical experience participating in system implementations, ideally with direct hands‑on configuration responsibility.
• Strong technical mindset with basic to intermediate programming knowledge (e.g. VBA, Python, SQL, scripting or similar).
• Experience configuring business rules, workflows and system settings independently.
• Understanding of HR data architecture, system integrations and data flows.
• Knowledge of HR processes and data management principles.
• Analytical and detail‑oriented, with strong troubleshooting abilities.
• Experience with testing, documentation and system optimisation.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
